With a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from McGill University and a medical degree from the University of Toronto, Dr. Cotterill has over 32 years of experience in hair restoration and transplantation, having completed surgical residency in orthopedic surgery before training with Dr. Walter Unger in a medical practice focused solely on hair restoration and hair transplantation for men and women.
He operates a hair transplant clinic in Toronto, Canada, and also has an office in Manhattan. Dr. Cotterill is certified by The American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and is a former president of The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.
