Dr. Alan Feller was also one of the first physicians in the world to research and offer FUE to his patients, starting to perform it regularly in 2003. Since then, he has received a number of patents for FUE tools — amongst patents for other medical and technological devices. Dr. Blake Bloxham joined Dr. Feller in 2015 and quickly took over as the director of surgery. Since that time, Dr. Bloxham has performed thousands of FUE and FUT procedures and has helped expand the practice to a number of new locations. Dr. Bloxham continues to innovate as well, being the first doctor in the world to research the drug verteporfin — a medication to help healing and potential regeneration — in an FUT hair transplant procedure.
