I have always loved working with people and playing with hair! For over three decades, I have dedicated myself to this path, with Cosmetology becoming my chosen profession. The process of meeting new people, trouble shooting their concerns, and finding ways to help them look their best, fueled me in my career. But after watching those closest to me, deal with cancer and hair-loss, I realized I could be doing so much more.

The path to becoming an Illinois Hair-loss Specialist has been long and enlightening. With so many facets to this niche, I quickly learned that I needed to hone in on a few specialties in order to truly master them. Lots of time and education, led me to become medically certified in both Trichology and Hair Replacement. Thus allowing me the opportunity to help those just starting out in their journey, as well as those much further along and requiring longer term solutions.

The knowledge to help people deal with all stages of hair-loss, is beyond rewarding. Having also dealt with hair-loss personally, I am able to connect with my clients on a deeper level, seeing as I understand how they feel. This personal connection puts them at ease and helps them open up about the struggles they deal with and concerns they have.

Seeing the effects of Hope wash over someone as they learn they have new hair growing back. Watching the look of amazement, as a client sees themselves for the first time with a normal head of hair. These transformations, from little hair to renewed confidence , brings a flood of emotions that is beyond words. Knowing I can help someone on such a deep level, and change their life for the better, is my WHY! It is this impact that drives me to continue enhancing my skills and making an impact in the lives of so many.
