In 2012 Dr Paul Cotterill became one of the first members of the ISHRS to attain the level of Fellow of The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. The designation of Fellow was established in order to recognize members who met its exceptional educational criteria.

Currently, Dr Paul Cotterill serves as an Out Of Hospital Premise Inspector for The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), for which he assesses hair restoration clinics and doctors in Ontario to ensure the guidelines set up by The CPSO are met.
